At the end of August I had to leave Penelope for the first time ever for a few nights while I was staying on the post natal ward following the birth of Laurence. I think she missed me, but evidently had lots of fun with just dad. Here’s what they got up to.
She wrestled a Labrador in the park over half a tree.
She went out without pants on! Or in her pyjamas!
Bath time became more fun
Tea time was interesting… (But, admittedly could’ve been much worse!)
More wrestling of dogs in the park
But, he still had time to make the house perfect for me coming home 💜
And, Penelope loves the latest addition!

I couldn’t help but laugh at her going out in PJ’s or without pants…this is something mine would do. He was no idea what outfits belong together, even though I put them together in their drawers. Lovely pictures and congratulations! Don’t they always have a fab time with their dads. I know when my two are together they do really basic stuff (breaking a big chunk of ice from the freezer defrost!!) and it ends up being the highlight of the year. Love the food! Looks like they had a great time. I had visions of this post turning into something you see on Facebook where the child has been turned into spiderman or something similar. It all sounds quite civilised.
